I started a new facebook group 'cross stitch show and tell' a couple of days ago and already it has 312 members! I've just been looking at all the photos and now i feel my stitchy bug coming back:)

An Angels Garden

This is my first pic of 'An angels Garden' designed by Alessandra Adelaide Needleworks, i bought it from www.patternsonline.com . I'm stitching it on silkweaver lemon sparkle. It shouldn't take long to stitch because of the large blocks of colour and there is just three colours.

ANGEL FRAMED

I've finally got my angel back from the framers in time for christmas and i am so pleased with it. I think it looks gorgeous. Its hung in my bedroom until tomorrow when i need to wrap it up and take it to Neils mums. I still haven't done anymore stitching. I started an angel card and will finish it before i start on the angel garden.

Robin card

I've finally finished the Robin card. I wish i could say i enjoyed it but the fractionals on the leaves were so boring. I'm pleased with it though and now i am going to start the victorian christmas motifs from last months WOCS. I've recieved my fabric from silkweaver and its lovely. I am going to do a few more cards before i start the angel below.

I haven't done a lot of stitching since the angel, i've been so busy. I started a robin card but finding it tiresome as there are so many fractionals on the leaves but i'm doing a bit every day. I'm now waiting for some lemon sparkle fabric from silkweaver to do this pattern 'An angels garden'. Ive never used opalescent fabric before but this should be a nice easy project. I took the finished L&L angel to the framers today. It cost £55 but has a gorgeous chunky gold frame and two mounts which will be red and a gold trim. It will be 2-3 weeks but really looking forward to seeing it.

FINISHED L&L In the arms of an angel

I finished this on the 28th October but have only just got round to taking pics. Ive really enjoyed doing it and hoping to get it framed this month to give to Neils mum for christmas. I am doing some christmas cards now.I kitted up a Robin card kit to do for my Grandma but now i can't find it anywhere:( I am gutted. Ive found another Robin chart from an old Card shop mag. Hopefully the other kit will turn up:)

Heres a bit of detail from the dress. The beads and metallics look fantastic and worth all the hard work in the end:)
