I found this chart whilst browsing sewandso and bought it because its perfect for me. I'm not an alcoholic but i do enjoy the odd glass of red wine :) lol It took me a few evenings to stitch up and will look for a frame on Saturday :)

I've finally finished this so will get it framed and give it to the bride on Wednesday :) Its going in a silver frame so i have stitched a border because there is no mount. I struggled to get the wording straight and unpicked twice but this is the nearest i can get without ruining it.

Yorkshire Terrier

This is my latest finish, a yorkie birthday card for my Grandma. It looks just like her little dog. Now need to finish the wedding sampler, i'm so behind already.

Stitching update

I haven't done a lot of stitching lately, i haven't been well for weeks so have been lurking quite a bit. I suffered from a nasty chest infection followed by infection in both ears and then sinusitis so was quite unwell for some time. After two courses of antibiotics i started to feel better but then came down with a sore throat and swollen glands! To top that off got two coldsores. Hopefully that will be the end and just to make sure i have bought some expensive vitamins to help my immune system. I really need to do some more stitching soon as i have a card to finish for my Grandma for her birthday of a yorkshire terrier and a tatty teddy wedding sampler too. I have started a facebook group last month called 'Cross Stitch Show and Tell'. It is doing really well and there are over 460 members so i'm very pleased about that. I really hope it continues to be popular.
