70th Birthday Card

Two birthday cards for two special birthdays. The first was for my daughter who turned 21 on the 14th March and the second card is for my Grandma in Majorca, her birthday is on 5th April :-)

Another Christmas Chickadee

Here's my third Christmas Chickadee. I've stitched this for a friend at work and this is the gorgeous card she made for me. I love rabbits and was born in the year of the rabbit so was appropriate for me :-)

Finished Christmas projects

I'm a bit late putting these on but here's my finished projects. I've started another Christmas chickadee for a work colleague. It will be my third!

butterfly notebook

I've just realised when updating my blog that I never took a picture of this little notebook. It's been in my handbag a month I stitched on 28cr to see how easy it would be to do a haed. It's not easy with my eyesight so won't be doing one soon lol

Margaret Sherry Christmas Mice

I've just finished these cute Christmas mice. I've changed some of the threads. I've used rayon, whisper and metallic for a little extra shine, texture and glitz :-)

Koi carp

Here's the lucky koi carp I stitched for Fraser. We have a pond with koi carp and he asked me to stitch this pattern from an old issue of wocs. It's taken longer because my vision is getting worse in my right eye but it was worth it. I used a tester pot of paint on an old frame which I think sets the stitching off perfectly. It's now hanging in his bedroom. I'm doing small projects for a while now until I sort my eye out :-)
