Angel Wings finished

I finished these angel wings last night. They are stitched on 16ct gold flecked aida. The photo doesn't really show the sparkles. I have put attention away until after Christmas. I have had health issues. An mri scan has shown that I may have multiple sclerosis. I am having further tests but all the symptoms point to ms. I have had blurred vision in my right eye for a while so have found this stitch difficult but was determined to finish it. I love angels so was a perfect design :-)

I have completed my mental health course and i'm back stitching :) Here is page 3 of Attention. The next page is another biggie but the last two pages are only small so will finish in the next few months hopefully :)

Attention has an eye

Attention is really coming to life now she has an eye :-) Its taken a while for this latest update due to illness but looking forward to stitching the rest of her :-)

something different

I bought some new voiles for my kitchen but couldn't find any tie backs that looked delicate enough so as a temporary measure i used silver craft elasic and some silver charms. It looks fab and I'm going to keep them :-)

I have just finished page 2/6 of attention. The trouble with doing large projects is that i have accumulated lots of new charts and i only have two hands lol. I am determined to carry on with this until ive finished :-)

I.m halfway through page 2. I am so tempted to start another project but i don't want   this to become another ufo

I've made a start on the next page. I was a little worried at first because the line between charts looked prominent but the more i stitched the better it looked.

Heres another update. I'm still enjoying it but sad to announce my laptop has died :( so ive had to use my sons laptop.

I am really enjoying it now i can see the face forming properly. There must have been about 25 colours just in the eye! lol i don't like the confetti much :)

Heres another update on Attention. I would have done more but ive been poorly and i ended up frogging quite a bit today. I can see the face forming and despite all the dark colours i am really enjoying stitching it :)

My new wip

I cant use my computer to blog so ive worked out how to do all this on my kindle. Here is my first wip of Attention (shinysun). I havent done much yet but will hopefully get more time soon to do it.

Happy New Year

Its a bit late but Happy New Year stitchers. I've started a new WIP on 1st Jan. Its Attention by shinysun for the SAL. I haven't done very much but its a start. I also started the angel wings but haven't done much of that either. I am hoping the next few weeks will be less hectic. I have been trying to upload some pics on here for a week but really struggling with the upload. I'll keep trying :)
